macom worked with the listed St. Blasien Cathedral to install a new audio system, aimed to achieve excellent speech intelligibility, flexibility and simplicity of operation. The system needed to be able to connect to external sources. High quality audio reproduction was achieved throughout the entire dome area with beam steering technology implemented across the 36m of the roof span. The dome is now the fourth largest in Europe, with state of the art audio technology at the centre of its design.
