Deutsche Bahn is moving into the Gasometer on the EUREF Campus in Berlin Schöneberg as the main tenant.
macom was commissioned by DB Immobilien to handle the AV technology concept, detailed planning, and construction supervision during the building phase. The task was to design the AV technology to be as flexible and mobile as possible, while integrating it seamlessly into the spatial concept. Based on the modular space design, equipment variants were developed and implemented for each room module. User requirements were identified through workshops with user representatives. An artistic LED installation by PFA Studios from Berlin adorns the foyer. In the elevator lobbies, digital signage provides up-to-date information on events and corporate news. All rooms are equipped with digital door signs. In addition to classic conference and meeting rooms on the 14th floor, one of the building’s highlights is the 130" LED wall in the event area and the adjacent, flexibly connectable workshop spaces, which can accommodate events with up to 200 participants.
