Fit for digital transformation: In order to be able to network more closely with scientists and digital experts, Sparkasse Bremen is moving its new corporate headquarters to the university campus. A four-storey new building for up to 600 employees is planned. The new building implements a comprehensive approach to a new work culture with open workspaces and coworking spaces. In addition to the company’s own employees, start-ups will also find their place there. Public areas are also planned on the ground floor. The building should be ready for occupancy by 2020.

AV technology and software applications play an important role in the concept for flexible working. In order to guarantee an optimal implementation, macom accompanies the Sparkasse Bremen on the entire way from the concept to the finished building.
The macom engineers supported the concept development with a feasibility study. Among other things, the experts recorded the requirements of the planned use case and the future users.

In the further course of the project, macom engineers are commissioned with the evaluation of the collaboration software, the room booking systems and the BYOD concepts. In addition, macom will draw up an operating concept and support the project partners with AV technology planning over the service phases 3 to 8. In parallel, the macom experts will train the future users in the use of the new AV and software systems and transfer the project into regular operation.
