Work has begun on the extension to the Debeka headquarters in Coblenz. The new building is supposed to reunite the offices that are scattered over the entire city. The building is characterised by a restrained, functional architecture. The basis is a Z-shaped building structure, which makes optimal use of the property. A one-storey transition will connect the existing Debeka building with the new building. In addition to office workplaces and meeting rooms, the new building also includes an event area. It has a hall with space for up to 500 people, which can also be divided into three parts. There will be a separate control room for sound and lighting.

The macom engineers were commissioned with the specialist planning for the entire AV technology and electro-acoustics. They will accompany the project through all phases of the HOAI up to site supervision during construction. This guarantees optimum integration of the AV technology systems into the meeting rooms and the event area.
