Innovation labs – an important component of digitalisation strategies

Innovation labs are becoming an important part of digitalisation strategies. This was confirmed by a recent study of the Crisp Research AG. More than 100 German companies have already invested in these innovation and creative factories to make their work processes more agile and to support their digitalisation strategy. These are no longer just the big DAX companies. macom has already planned the first innovation labs for medium-sized companies in all of Germany. Current project is an innovation lab in Potsdam/near Berlin for a leading German vehicle manufacturer.

In addition, macom operates its own innovation lab, the macomLAB. There, the macom experts test collaboration solutions and the interaction of hardware and software for agile working methods. The insights gained here are incorporated into the consulting and planning projects. Furthermore, an area of 160 square metres is available for the customers to simulate flexibly adaptable work and meeting spaces and collaboration environments. These can be used, for example, for end-user and technology trend workshops.
