Collaboration in favour of reinforced market cultivation and better service
Stuttgart/Berlin, 06/07/2017 – With effect from 30/06/2017, Europe’s leading technology consultant and AV technology specialist planner Stuttgart-based macom GmbH and one of the leading experts for media and visualisation matters for temporary installations, Berlin-based NIYU media projects GmbH have formed a strategic collaboration. The two autonomously remaining companies are pooling their resources and competences within the macom group in favour of a reinforced market cultivation and an expanded service. In this context, NIYU will change their company name to macomNIYU GmbH.
“NIYU’s know how is an enrichment for the competences of macom group. NIYU has an experience of the market of temporary installations so far not to be had within macom group. With this reinforcement, macom group now unites 65 highly experienced engineers with a unique expertise for the specialist planning of AV technology, acoustics and lighting for fixed installations and temporary projects. Thus, together we can serve our customers even better”, Björn Jensen, managing director of macom GmbH, explains the backgrounds for the collaboration.
“We have made the decision for this collaboration after careful consideration. It was the obvious step towards the further development of our company, the future and the reinforcement of the brand. macom and NIYU not only have a similar know how, we have our corporate cultures and the quality standards of the planning and the project implementation in common as well. Together we can join our forces and our expertise to direct them in the same direction. Thus, the collaboration offers the capacities for a planned strategic growth and the extension of the service portfolio for our customers. Strictly speaking, the collaboration even is part of this growth”, Niko Hocke, managing director of macomNIYU GmbH emphasizes.
With this collaboration, the two companies which remain autonomous reinforce their market cultivation. Together they have a specialist planning expertise stemming from over 2,000 successfully implemented projects throughout the world. With this combined market power the companies want to address new market segments which they have not opened up so far. A new joint position for sales and marketing responsibilities has been created in favour of the intensified market development. This position is supposed to bundle and focalise the joint efforts on the market.
