macom advises Deutsche Bahn on two major construction projects in Frankfurt

Deutsche Bahn is having a campus-style building complex built on Europa-Allee in Frankfurt’s Europaviertel. The complex is to serve as a new headquarters for DB Personenverkehr employees. Around 3,000 employees from the business units DB Fernverkehr, DB Regio and DB Vertrieb will find a modern working environment there. The complex will consist of the 60 meter high “DB Tower” with about 28,000 square meters of office space and a seven-story office building called “DB Brick” with about 23,000 square meters.

Deutsche Bahn is also having a new head office built for its infrastructure subsidiary DB Netz on the Posthallen area in Frankfurt. In the new building with around 45,000 square metres on Adam-Riese-Strasse, the locations previously distributed throughout the city will be merged. A modern office building for approx. 2,200 employees will be constructed by the end of 2020. The office and conference areas will be equipped with state-of-the-art AV and communication technology.

macom was commissioned to develop the spatial concept for AV and communication technology for both projects.
